Builders Arms Hotel – the new look

Here's some more shots from the shoot I did at the Builders Arms Hotel in Collingwood the other week. These are some of the images of the public bar downstairs that's been renovated. Even though it's had a real make-over, it's kept some of its 'pub' feel with lots of brown leather couches and black bar stools. And they've added some very cool, Melbourne touches, like the conical flasks that I'm seeing pop up everywhere at the moment. I've got one of these at home, but I use it as a decanter, whereas these guys are using them as water jugs.

Photo shoot at Hemmingways Manly

I did a photo shoot at Hemmingways Manly recently. I worked with George MacLean, one of the owners, many years ago, and he's just opened up this awesome little joint on the beachfront of Manly with a couple of his mates. They have created a very eclectic mix of  American-style fast food/bar food and all in between. The interior looks fantastic, as well. Very different to what Manly is used to, and am sure it will be huge. Manly is ready for a bar like Hemmingways! Check out some of my pics from the shoot. Click on images to see gallery

A new start with a new website and a new home

My new website is finally launched thanks to Andrew Cornale – my web designer whom has been patient, professional and a really easy person to deal with. Also an even bigger change is that I am now residing in Collingwood, Melbourne. I am still shooting in Sydney for Pacific Magazines and all of my Sydney clients but now looking for new work in amazing Melbourne.

A huge thanks to my beautiful wife Becky for getting a job transfer to Edge, Melbourne looking forward to our new life and new work.
